What you'll do

  • Own the weekly forecast cadence for your aligned region or segment — preparing the call, driving the discussion, capturing commitments, and narrowing an accurate number to Sales and Finance leadership.
  • Build and maintain forecast models by combining bottoms-up rep commit, management judgment, historical conversion rates, and pipeline coverage.
  • Track forecast accuracy over time across rep, manager, and region.
  • Monitor pipeline health (coverage ratios, stage aging, slippage, creation velocity, win rates) and raise early warnings.
  • Partner with Finance and Sales Strategy on quota setting, capacity planning, territory coverage, and quarterly risk assessment.
  • Produce the analytical backbone for QBRs — performance against plan, pipeline generation and conversion, product and segment mix, competitive win/loss, ramp progression, relevance and rep-level productivity.
  • Support executive-level business reviews and board-facing reporting.
  • Track QBR commitments and action items to closure.
  • Serve as representative of sales process compliance (opportunity hygiene, stage-gate criteria, close-date int), define metrics, and equip managers.
  • Drive adoption of the sales methodology and deal-inspection cadence with Sales Enablement.
  • Build, standardize, and maintain the reporting and dashboards leadership uses in Salesforce and the company BI stack.
  • Explain number movement, isolate drivers, and recommend actions.
  • Analyze top performers' behaviors and translate into repeatable patterns.
  • Deliver new insights on trends, red flags, and emerging opportunities ahead of requests.
  • Act as primary ops point of contact for region — triaging requests and resolving issues.
  • Attend regional team calls and leadership meetings.
  • Support key operations cycles: fiscal year planning, territory and quota rollout, comp releases, and quarter-end.

What they require

  • 5+ years in Sales Operations, Field Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Strategy, ideally in a B2B SaaS organization.
  • Experience supporting an enterprise or mid-market field sales team is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a forecast process.
  • Deep working knowledge of Salesforce including report batches and dashboards.
  • Hands-on experience with a BI or visualization platform.
  • Strong command of the sales funnel and its governing metrics: pipeline coverage, conversion, velocity, win rate, ACV, ramp, productivity.
  • Advanced analytical skills with judgment on which numbers matter.
  • Executive presence and credibility with VP+ stakeholders; ability to influence without authority.
  • Track record of driving process change and adoption across a distributed sales team.
  • Familiarity with the wider GTM tech stack — CPQ, sales engagement, conversation intelligence, forecasting tools.
  • Self-directed operator who can work independently in fast-paced scripts, remote-friendly environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage from first employment day; Five9 covers 100% of employee portion, shares high portion of dependent cost.

  • 401k savings plan with employer matching.
  • Access to innovative mental health support platform for all covered employees and dependents.
