About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Engagement: Act as a peer to CTOs and VP-level engineering leaders to navigate the evolving AI landscape.
- Solution Direction: Partner with Field Engineers to design enterprise-wide AI adoption strategies, framing problems without getting bogged down in hands-on implementation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the voice of the customer externally, feeding high-level insights and challenges back into Cursor's internal product and go-to-market teams.
- Technical Strategy: Lead architectural conversations around evaluating Cursor at a systems level, tailoring narratives to different customer technology stacks.
Requirements & Background
- Leadership Experience: Usually requires prior experience as an engineering leader, principal architect, or platform leader in complex organizations.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of modern engineering organization structures, developer productivity challenges, and AI/LLM tooling.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional external-facing executive presence, with the ability to connect technical capabilities directly to business and organizational impact.
