What you'll do

  • Identify and qualify potential leads, outbound and inbound, by phone, email, social media messaging, AI, and other media as they are made available.
  • Facilitate and perform capabilities demonstrations remotely, and as needed, in person.
  • Manage a sales pipeline, including qualification, pricing, contract negotiation, forecasting, and closing opportunities, won and lost.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for capabilities demonstrations, opportunities created, and new client contracts awarded.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert, understanding our products, the impact of our service on our customers’ business, and insights that will make our customers more successful in their business.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects, key clients, and stakeholders, including clinical research sites and academic institutions.
  • Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities and document customer interactions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ offerings to effectively position our products and services.
  • Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge through training, workshops, and self-learning to enhance sales performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and engineering, to ensure that customer needs are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to drive customer satisfaction.

  • At least 4 years of experience in business development, with a track record of driving revenue growth in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Preferred: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Previous experience as a clinical research site coordinator or a highly similar position.
