What you'll do

  • Coordinate international shipments from manufacturers to distribution centres across the UK, Europe, USA and Canada.
  • Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational issues before they impact customers.
  • Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure smooth execution.
  • Ensure customs and shipping documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Analyse shipment, inventory and operational data to identify trends and improve decision making.
  • Build reports and dashboards that provide visibility across the logistics operation.
  • Use data to identify bottlenecks, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support forecasting and operational planning through data analysis.
  • Identify manual or repetitive processes that can be improved.
  • Build automations and improve workflows wherever possible.
  • Help develop scalable operational processes as the business grows.
  • Work with internal teams to continuously improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate logistics data within internal systems.
  • Learn and work with SAP ByDesign.
  • Update Monday.com and operational tracking systems.
  • Ensure shipment information is accurate and up to date.

What they require

  • Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or newly qualified Accountants (or similar analytical finance backgrounds) with a genuine interest in logistics and operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and operational information.
  • Experience using Excel and data analysis tools.
  • ERP or operational systems experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain or operations is advantageous but not essential.
  • Love solving complex operational problems.
  • Enjoy working with numbers and data.
  • Naturally look for ways to improve processes.
  • Are highly organised and accurate.
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Take ownership and enjoy making systems more efficient.
  • Have an interest in logistics and how products move around the world.
