Logistics & Data Operations Specialist – E-commerce, Inventory & AI Full-Time | Remote | U.S. Business Hours About the Role At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a highly analytical Logistics & Data Operations Specialist to manage logistics, inventory planning, reporting, and operational systems for a fast-growing e-commerce business. This role combines hands-on logistics execution with data analysis and AI-powered process improvement . You’ll manage freight and purchase orders, maintain accurate inventory data, build operational reports, and use tools like Shopify, Claude, and ChatGPT to create smarter, more scalable workflows. What You’ll Do Logistics & Inventory Operations Manage freight, shipment tracking, delivery coordination, and warehouse communication Create and manage purchase orders based on sell-through, inventory forecasts, and revenue projections Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify stock risks Maintain accurate product and variant data in Shopify Coordinate with warehouse teams to support accurate and efficient fulfillment Data Analysis & Reporting Build advanced spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards, and operational reports Analyze inventory, returns, customer service, and product-quality data Turn large datasets into actionable operational insights Improve visibility into logistics, inventory, and business performance Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities through data AI, Automation & Systems Use Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools to improve operational workflows Build centralized reporting and data-management systems Help connect data across Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo , and internal systems Automate repetitive workflows and reduce manual work Test new AI tools and systems that can improve operational efficiency Process Improvement Build scalable operational workflows and documentation Improve reporting accuracy and data consistency Identify logistics and operational bottlenecks before they become problems Collaborate with warehouse, customer support, operations, and leadership teams What We’re Looking For Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce operations, or inventory management Hands-on experience with Shopify Experience managing: Freight and shipments Purchase orders Inventory Warehouse coordination Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills Strong quantitative and data-analysis capabilities Experience working with large operational datasets Practical experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools Strong systems and process-improvement mindset Excellent written and verbal English Ability to work independently during U.S. business hours Nice to Have Experience connecting Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Klaviyo data APIs, automation, or AI integration experience Dashboard and centralized reporting experience E-commerce or consumer products background Inventory forecasting and margin analysis experience What Success Looks Like Accurate inventory and operational data On-time shipment and purchase order coordination Fewer logistics errors and operational bottlenecks Reliable, decision-ready dashboards and reports Improved inventory forecasting and visibility Successful AI and automation initiatives that reduce manual work Interview Process Application Review Spark Hire Intro Video Recruiter Interview Final Client Interview Offer & Onboarding What Happens After You Apply Qualified candidates will receive a Spark Hire invitation to complete a short Intro Video.
