Role overview Remote Recruitment is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to support a UK-based employer, working remotely from South Africa. You will keep shipments moving — booking collections, tracking deliveries, chasing carriers, and keeping customers informed when plans change. It is a role with a lot of moving parts, suited to someone who stays organised when the day does not go to plan. Key responsibilities Book collections and deliveries with UK and international carriers Track shipments and proactively update customers on delays Prepare shipping documentation, including customs paperwork where needed Resolve delivery exceptions, damages, and lost consignments with carriers Maintain accurate records in the transport management system Report weekly on delivery performance and carrier costs What you will need Two or more years in logistics, freight, supply chain, or shipping coordination Familiarity with carrier portals and transport or warehouse management systems Confident written and spoken English for carrier and customer contact Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets A reliable computer and stable fibre or LTE internet Availability 09:00 to 17:00 UK time (11:00 to 19:00 SAST) What is on offer R17,000 to R22,000 per month, depending on experience 100% remote role with a UK employer Paid leave and UK public holidays Long-term, stable placement rather than short contract work Exposure to international freight and customs processes Apply through Remote Recruitment with an up-to-date CV. How the day works Mornings are usually spent clearing overnight carrier updates and resolving anything that did not deliver as planned. Afternoons cover new bookings, documentation, and customer updates. You will work alongside a small UK operations team and have direct contact with carriers rather than going through a middle layer. Remote Recruitment places South African talent with UK employers on long-term contracts, so you will be joining one business properly rather than moving between clients.
