What you'll do

  • Planning, executing, and QA’ing lifecycle campaigns from start to finish.
  • Developing campaign, audience, and testing strategies aligned with company goals and KPIs.
  • Setting up, QA’ing, and managing lifecycle campaigns, automated triggers, and transactional communications across email, push, in-app messages, and SMS.
  • Updating and maintaining a high volume of unique content cards in Stride’s native app.
  • Updating email HTML and templates to meet campaign requirements and copy structure.
  • Building, managing, and updating the marketing campaign calendar tied to product launches, seasonal opportunities, promotional moments, and nurture content.
  • Partnering with the Brand team and external resources to maintain template designs and develop graphics and illustrations in Canva or Figma.
  • Developing copy and subject lines that align with brand voice.
  • Creating thorough copy briefs with clear guidelines for copywriters, then managing the copy development, review, and approval process.
  • Tracking, analyzing, and summarizing campaign performance metrics, including open, click, and unsubscribe rates.
  • Analyzing A/B tests, defining learnings, and making recommendations for optimization.
  • Reporting on campaign performance and insights across the organization.
  • Adhering to privacy, internal, and industry guidelines for all communication channels.
  • Ensuring compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Managing the repository of assets, performance documentation, campaign visuals, guidelines, and instructions.

What they require

  • Hands-on Braze experience at a highly proficient level—typically reflecting 2+ years—building, coding, and QA'ing campaigns and canvases across email, in-app notifications, SMS, push notifications, content cards, and multi-channel campaigns, including HTML template updates, their native AI tools, complex audience segmentation (15+ filters), delivery validation, and Liquid logic for personalization.
  • Experience using Braze's reporting and diagnostic tools—including Report Builder and User Lookup—to analyze campaign performance, troubleshoot user journeys, and translate results into Google Sheets and/or Excel.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with project or task management tools.
  • Preferred: Basic graphic design skills.
  • Preferred: Basic content management system experience.
  • Preferred: Consumer copywriting and editing experience, including crafting or refining subject lines, headlines, and other campaign copy for fit and clarity.
  • Preferred: Leveraging both generative AI and platform-native AI for campaign build and optimization.
  • Preferred: Experience in startup, e-commerce, and/or insurance environments.
  • An effective communicator who can build strong working relationships, raise issues, share ideas, and clearly summarize results and learnings.
  • Someone with a strong test-and-learn mindset, comfortable proposing experiments, running A/B tests, and iterating based on results.
  • Able to meet deadlines under pressure while remaining flexible, organized, and committed to high-quality work.
  • A self-starter who proactively seeks out resources, develops new ideas, and finds solutions to move work forward.
