Licensing/compliance/regulatory professional with 5 years of experience, ideally in consumer financial services. Must be able to manage licensing filings, regulatory reporting, NMLS work, and cross-functional compliance projects for a remote Canada role.

What you'll do

  • Support new product and service launches related to state licensing and reporting, including money transmission, servicing/collections, lending, and international expansion.
  • Work cross-functionally with legal, public affairs, compliance, finance, and tax to meet regulatory licensing and reporting obligations.
  • Maintain the central repository for licensing and reporting obligations for new license types, including workflows and regulatory guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Licensing team to interpret, prepare, and submit state licensing annual reports, MSB call reports, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Ensure timely regulatory filings, call out licensing issues, and supervise ongoing regulatory obligations in the licensing management tool.
  • Lead ongoing preparation of renewal applications and other forms to be filed in various licensing jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate on NMLS licensing, reporting, and other regulatory filings.
  • Analyze and develop new processes, leveraging AI, to increase efficiency within the licensing program.
  • Assist the department in researching and building licensing requirements into the licensing management tool.
  • Coordinate with senior leadership to fulfill ongoing state licensing requirements.
  • Partner with the team on licensing projects and initiatives.
