South Dakota Mental Health Therapist | Remote Telehealth Position Location: South Dakota Setting: Remote / Telehealth Position: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Position Overview We are looking for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist ( LCSW, LMFT, LPC ) to provide virtual therapy services to clients across South Dakota. This role is centered around helping clients navigate mental health concerns, personal challenges, relationship issues, and major life transitions through consistent, scheduled counseling sessions. You’ll have the opportunity to build ongoing client relationships while working within a structured remote environment. Key Responsibilities Provide individual therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform Work with clients experiencing a variety of behavioral health concerns Complete clinical evaluations and identify appropriate treatment needs Create and maintain individualized care plans Apply therapeutic techniques based on client goals and presenting concerns Track client progress and update documentation as required Maintain accurate clinical records while following privacy regulations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when additional support is needed Requirements Active and unrestricted South Dakota license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field Previous experience providing mental health counseling or psychotherapy Knowledge of assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation practices Ability to manage a remote caseload independently Strong communication skills and professional judgment Comfortable providing care through telehealth technology Benefits 2 weeks PTO Health insurance 401(k) plan with 3% company match Full-time weekday schedule Fully remote work environment Take the next step in your mental health career with a telehealth role designed for licensed professionals who value flexibility, stability, and meaningful client care.
