Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Location: Vermont Setting: Remote / Telehealth Position: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
The Position
We’re looking for an LMFT to provide therapy to clients throughout Vermont from a remote setting. The work includes individual, couples, and family sessions, with a focus on the issues that often bring people to therapy, including relationship difficulties, family conflict, stress, and major changes in life. You’ll manage a regular schedule of virtual appointments and use your clinical training to guide each session based on what the client is dealing with. Along with direct therapy, you’ll handle treatment follow-up and the documentation required for ongoing care.
Responsibilities
Meet with individuals, couples, and families through secure video sessions Explore family dynamics, relationship patterns, and concerns affecting the client’s day-to-day life Help clients identify what they want to change and set practical goals for therapy Use appropriate marriage and family therapy techniques during sessions Reassess the direction of treatment as client needs change Complete intake information, session notes, and other required records Consult with other providers or team members when coordination is appropriate Maintain confidentiality and follow Vermont LMFT and telehealth requirements
Requirements
Active Vermont LMFT license in good standing Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families Comfortable using telehealth platforms and EHR systems Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
