Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), fully remote, part-time. Current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Arizona is required. Requires 1+ year working with children or families with developmental differences and knowledge of therapies such as Narrative Therapy and CBT.

What you'll do

  • Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children (patients, their parents, and/or their siblings).
  • Utilize therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs, which may include Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy, and others.
  • Attend to relational ethics while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and the families served.
  • Actively engage other team members to ensure wrap-around support and participate in family care meetings with other providers.
  • Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards, including confidentiality, mandated reporting, and HIPAA compliance.

What they require

  • Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Arizona is required for this position.
  • 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
  • Well-grounded knowledge in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches (e.g., cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, narrative therapy).
  • Preferred: ability/commitment to obtain cross-state licensure as indicated by business needs.
