Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Position Overview Location: North Carolina Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 annually with full benefits Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Summary This full-time telehealth position is designed for an LMFT who wants to provide practical, relationship-focused mental health care in a remote setting. You will work with clients who may be facing family tension, marital stress, communication breakdowns, emotional distress, or changes that are affecting their relationships and daily functioning. The LMFT in this role will provide assessment, therapy, treatment planning, and progress monitoring through virtual sessions. The focus is on helping clients better understand themselves, improve connection, and build healthier ways to manage conflict, stress, and change. Responsibilities Provide remote therapy services to clients using a HIPAA-compliant telehealth system Support couples and families with relational issues, conflict patterns, life transitions, and communication concerns Complete diagnostic assessments and gather relevant family, social, and clinical history Build treatment plans that are realistic, clinically appropriate, and aligned with client goals Deliver therapy using marriage and family therapy principles and evidence-informed methods Keep progress notes, treatment updates, and records current in the EHR Evaluate risk, safety concerns, and client needs throughout the course of care Maintain compliance with state licensure rules, clinical ethics, and privacy standards Requirements Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related clinical field Active, unrestricted LMFT license in North Carolina Experience providing therapy in a clinical, outpatient, private practice, or telehealth environment Ability to work effectively with couples, families, and individuals from varied backgrounds Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and clinical decision-making Comfortable with remote systems, video sessions, and electronic records Must be organized, reliable, and able to manage a full-time clinical schedule Benefits Competitive annual salary of $115,000–$120,000 Health Insurance 2 weeks PTO 401K Plan with 3% Company Match Full-time remote work Monday–Friday schedule Professional telehealth tools and operational support Long-term opportunity with a growing behavioral health team Bring your LMFT experience to a remote role that values strong clinical work, dependable care, and professional growth in the telehealth space.
