What you'll do

  • Drafting, negotiation, and management of various commercial agreements
  • Provide product and sales support as Nuvei develops payment solutions
  • Assist in managing and monitoring litigation across Canada and the United States
  • Liaising with external counsel
  • Interact daily with business lines such as Operations, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, Finance

What they require

  • Member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec or province, or licensed in at least one US jurisdiction.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial and transactional law.
  • Experience with ACH payments and NACHA rules a must.
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing information technology contracts
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations in the payment services industry.
