Volunteer fundraising and partnerships lead in Mumbai for 4-6 hrs/week. Needs fundraising, BD or partnerships experience; CSR/NGO background is a plus. This is unpaid.

What you'll do

  • Oversee market research to identify and prioritize donor and CSR organizations
  • Develop and lead the outreach strategy for all Fundraising & institutional partnership targets
  • Build, manage, and grow a pipeline of donor and CSR relationships
  • Represent Proximity Foundation in partner conversations, meetings, and negotiations
  • Brief the Comm & Outreach Lead on what partnership materials are needed and when
  • Manage and support the Market Research and Partnership Outreach sub-roles
  • Report partnership pipeline progress and outcomes to the Operations Manager
  • Draft the F&P strategy and own the overall pipeline
  • Coordinate and direct the team of volunteers (Fundraising, Partnership & Market Research) by reviewing trackers and keeping it moving
  • Lead on high-stakes prospects and outreach efforts
  • Report to Ops Manager and represent the F&P in team meetings

What they require

  • You've worked in fundraising, BD, or partnerships - sector does not matter.
  • Preferred: CSR/NGO background is a plus !
  • You can hold two work-streams in your head without dropping either.
  • You are comfortable building from scratch - no perfect playbook exists yet.
  • You like coordinating people as much as doing the work yourself.

Proximity Foundation runs structured coding education programs for young people aged 14-18 at Community Care Institutions (CCIs). Using a computer-based LMS curriculum covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, we pair students with volunteer mentors in cohort-based sessions designed to build real technical skills and lasting confidence.
