What you'll do

  • Take on complex, open-ended questions that span multiple parts of the business and bring structure to ambiguity;
  • Understand how our different businesses make money, identify the key drivers of growth, and assess whether that growth is sustainable, connecting the individual business performance to the broader consolidated picture;
  • Build financial models and analysis from the ground up to answer strategic questions and support business decisions;
  • Find, access and validate the data you need, including working directly with SQL and BI tools when the answer isn’t readily available;
  • Improve forecasting across the business, both in-year and long-range, by strengthening methodologies and key drivers, increasing accuracy, and making the process more efficient and easier to explain;
  • Own the monthly and quarterly finance rhythm, partnering closely with business teams on reviews and reporting while maintaining a consistent standard across all areas of the business;
  • Challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for the Director, Strategic Finance & Insights, VP Finance, CFO and business leaders.

What they require

  • Sound financial modelling skills, including building driver-based models and three-statement analysis from the ground up;
  • Experience working with data directly, including SQL or an equivalent querying tool and a BI platform;
  • Strong business curiosity and the ability to dig into a number until you understand what is really driving it;
  • The ability to challenge assumptions and numbers while building trusted relationships with business partners;
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to make complex analysis clear and actionable for both finance and non-finance audiences;
