Lead Product Analyst / Analytics Engineer - AI & Experimentation

ArtWorkout is a mobile drawing app used by millions of people worldwide. We combine creativity, education, and gamification to help users learn to draw, relax, and develop new skills.

You will work with a product serving 1M+ iOS MAU and 1.5M+ Android MAU, about 80 million ClickHouse events per day, and a history of 600+ A/B experiments.

We are looking for a Lead Product Analyst / Analytics Engineer who will help us build AI-native analytics processes, automate experimentation, and systematically find opportunities to improve unit economics.

You will work closely with the founder, product managers, and engineers. The role combines hands-on product analytics with building reliable tools and AI agents that turn recurring analytical work into scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents and automated workflows that identify and validate opportunities in conversion, retention, subscriptions, advertising, ARPU, and LTV.
• Develop a repeatable process from data signal to validated insight, product hypothesis, and experiment.
• Automate key parts of the A/B testing lifecycle: setup validation, metric selection, monitoring, guardrails, result analysis, and knowledge capture.
• Define and maintain key product and unit-economics metrics.
• Analyze funnels, cohorts, retention, monetization, and user behavior using SQL and Python.
• Build and maintain reusable analytics tools, scheduled workflows, dashboards, and data-quality checks.
• Ensure AI-generated insights are traceable, reproducible, and independently validated.
• Develop the internal analytics codebase through GitHub, code review, tests, CI, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve event tracking, data collection, and analytics infrastructure.
• Translate business questions and data signals into clear product decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product analytics, analytics engineering, or growth analytics.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with ClickHouse, BigQuery, or similar analytical databases.
• Strong Python skills for data analysis and automation.
• Strong understanding of product metrics, funnels, retention, monetization, and unit economics.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B experiments.
• Experience building reusable analytical tools or automated processes, not only dashboards and one-off analyses.
• Practical experience with AI agents or LLM-based workflows: tool integration, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails, and human review.
• Confident Git/GitHub workflow, including pull requests, code review, tests, and documentation.
• Ability to independently validate AI-generated analysis and identify its failure modes.
• High ownership and strong attention to data quality.
• English B2+.

Nice to Have

• Experience with B2C mobile apps, gaming, or EdTech products.
• Experience with subscription products and advertising monetization.
• Experience with GrowthBook or similar experimentation platforms.
• Experience with analytics infrastructure, semantic layers, or data contracts.
• Knowledge of Bayesian statistics or advanced experimentation methods.
• Experience with LLM evaluations, RAG, knowledge graphs, or agent observability.
