What you'll do

  • Lead architectural design, development, and deployment of resilient, scalable Salesforce Platform solutions for Sales and CPQ.
  • Translate business and product requirements into technical roadmaps and system specifications.
  • Establish engineering best practices, design patterns, coding standards, and testing strategies.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and highly efficient APEX code alongside the Salesforce development team.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, and performance.
  • Manage technical debt while balancing delivery speed with long-term system health.
  • Provide technical guidance, direct support, and actionable feedback to Salesforce engineers.
  • Mentor team members to foster technical growth and career advancement.
  • Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, technical grooming, and post-mortems.
  • Partner with Technical Managers, Enterprise Architects, and other Technical Leaders to align on scope, timelines, and technical feasibility.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and incident response.

What they require

  • 5+ years of software development experience in Salesforce/CPQ.
  • Experience with APEX Triggers & Classes, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Configurations & Workflow, Salesforce Security & Administration.
  • Experience with API design, JSON structures, and Boundary System Architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, GitHub, or GitLab.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Dev Ops GearSet platform.
  • Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Communities (Portal) architecture and design.
  • Preferred: Understanding of modern security practices such as OAuth, Integrated Apps, and 3rd Party Connectors.
