What you'll do

  • Lead the design of resilient electrical infrastructure for mission critical facilities, including medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems, equipment layouts, and electrical system architecture from conceptual design through construction.
  • Develop electrical designs incorporating generators, UPS systems, automatic and static transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, PDUs, and associated critical power infrastructure.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software to prepare drawings and visual aids.
  • Timely and effective management of project design team including resource forecasting and coordination.
  • Identify opportunities and lead the strategic use of technology, digital platforms, and AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency through workflow automation, reduced manual effort, and improved accuracy in forecasting, documentation, reporting, and quality processes.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited institution.
  • PE in related discipline.
  • Minimum of eight years of electrical engineering experience with demonstrated experience designing mission critical facilities including hyperscale data centers, enterprise data centers, AI infrastructure, healthcare, semiconductor, or other high-availability environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of mission critical electrical infrastructure including medium- and low-voltage power distribution, standby generation, UPS systems, grounding, lighting, life safety systems, and critical facility electrical design.
  • Knowledge of codes and specifications for the design of electrical systems including National Electric Code, Life Safety and Energy Conservation Codes.
