What you'll do

  • Build a disciplined, exceptional analytical team.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data and analytics roadmap and strategy.
  • Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing team of analytics professionals.
  • Build forecasts, perform business analysis, and develop and productionise models.
  • Drive actionable insights from data to support product, operations, marketing, and engineering.
  • Analyse CAC per channel.
  • Identify more and less engaged customer segments.
  • Analyse customers’ share of wallet and how to use it.
  • Analyse typical Moniepoint consumer behaviour.
  • Identify products that cause the biggest incremental engagement.
  • Partner with growth, product, and engineering managers to collect the right data for meaningful business insights.
  • Bring data leadership and rigour to product development.
  • Build a strategic understanding of the business and structure complex projects to bring them to life.
  • Create and maintain yearly forecasts and budgets for products.
  • Define the product growth plan and lead execution across acquisition, monetisation, and retention.
  • Own and optimise business metrics or commercial goals across acquisition, conversion, activation, retention, and expansion.
  • Perform detailed product analysis across the product management funnel and implement funnel changes to improve conversion.
  • Design and execute A/B testing programs to optimise sales, conversion rates, and adoption at each funnel stage.
  • Lead testing and optimisation efforts for the conversion funnel across offline and online channels, prioritising high-impact tests.
  • Improve product design and deploy experiments to improve lifetime value and decrease churn.
  • Use comprehensive analytics across the funnel from marketing acquisition to product usage.
  • Analyse user behaviour to improve the sales funnel and increase conversions.
  • Use advanced analytics to assess campaign performance and refine strategies.
  • Define and track growth metrics including CAC, activation rate, retention rate, payback time, and revenue per customer.
  • Conduct cohort analysis and journey mapping to identify bottlenecks and optimisation opportunities.

What they require

  • 5+ years in Analytics and Analytics Management.
  • 2+ years in a management role managing teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Proven track record in a consumer-FMCG environment, preferably in a CPG or fintech environment.
  • Deep experience scaling product businesses, with demonstrated ownership of significant revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to drive metrics and benchmarks.
  • Experience with growth experiments, A/B testing, and funnel optimisation.
  • Deep SQL knowledge.
  • Proficiency in product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Grafana, Tableau, Looker, etc.
  • Deep understanding of data analytics, user behaviour analysis and segmentation.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with teams, stakeholders, and users through verbal presentations, written reports, and visual media.
  • Proven ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing product teams.
  • Expertise in data analytics tools and digital marketing platforms with ability to manage and mentor teams of marketers, analysts, and designers.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree in Business or STEM.
  • Preferred: Experience in Growth Analytics, Product analytics, Credit risk analytics.
  • Preferred: Background in both mass-marketing and product-led growth models.
  • Preferred: Experience managing P&L or budget responsibility.
