What you'll do

  • Build relationships amongst the distributor’s leadership team including CEO, Regional VPs, Regional managers and District Managers.
  • Develop 3 X 3 relationship management plan involving key team members at Axalta.
  • Develop a business plan with annual growth projections, demand process planning, regional business plans, organizational development, training objectives, pipeline development and market prioritization.
  • Integrate activities of Axalta’s Strategic Sales team into a working sales process with the distributor and support development of the distributor’s sales organization.
  • Work with Axalta’s Distribution Director to identify and launch new market opportunities across trade and commercial brands.
  • Coordinate and facilitate quarterly strategic review meetings between the customer and Axalta’s sales management team.
  • Utilize SharePoint, Salesforce, MSOffice and other resources to further productivity and communication.

What they require

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 5+ years industry experience required.
  • 5+ years of selling and retention experience selling to or managing relationships with top-tier distributors preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful customer support in Automotive Refinish.
  • Strong business acumen and financial knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-disciplined and able to perform effectively in unstructured and autonomous conditions.
  • Presents oneself professionally across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Competent computer skills, proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
