What you'll do

  • Identify opportunities and grow platform within key accounts to 2030 strategic intent
  • Develop pipeline by aligning MSS solutions with customer pain and roadmaps
  • Drive strategic upselling to increase share of wallet and achieve year-on-year incremental share increases
  • Complete MEDDPICC and 80/20 processes for incoming requests and outgoing quotes
  • Lead NPI: ensure projects move from ideation to production without operational bottlenecks and align customer timelines with production schedules
  • Act as voice of the customer to incorporate critical needs into solution offerings
  • Build and maintain 12-month rolling demand forecasts for procurement and capacity planning
  • Identify gaps between forecasts and actual PO placement and flag potential capacity issues
  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with key customer stakeholders for business reviews, quality, scorecards and intelligence gathering
  • Act as main escalation path for customer concerns on factory performance
  • Sync with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams on floor capacity, equipment downtime, and lead times
  • Partner with Enterprise Solutions Engineering to ensure quality constraints and delivery schedules are realistic and executable

What they require

  • 3 years or more prior experience in a technically-oriented Sales role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High technical fluency in one or more of semiconductor metrology inspection tools, optics, laser machine processing, high voltage feedthroughs or precision machining
  • Basic computer skills required, including facility with Microsoft Office and experience with custom CRM and ERP systems
  • Proven ability to find and close new business opportunities within a technical or industrial landscape ("Hunter" mentality)
  • Deep understanding of the production lifecycle, including lead times, supply chain constraints, and the NPI process (Manufacturing IQ)
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into accurate forecasts using ERP software and Advanced Excel functions (Analytical Rigor)
  • Ability to preserve customer relationships while protecting operational integrity (Communication Mastery)
