Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions based on business requirements. Collaborate with senior architects to develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Conduct research on emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions. Support the development and integration of various systems and applications. Participate in the evaluation and selection of hardware and software components. Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Assist in creating proof-of-concepts (POCs) and prototypes to validate architecture solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for implemented solutions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and standards. Coordinate with internal or external auditors and ensure the integrity of our processes. Work with business analysts to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Analyze and document current systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement. Participate in the development and implementation of support strategies and improvements. Monitor and report on support metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Optional but preferred: Use knowledge of Yardi or RealPage schema and datasets to prepare technical solutions for break-fix and/or OpEx / CapEx developments. Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (master’s degree preferred). 5-7 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or related roles. Broad understanding of architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies. Broad familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services. Basic experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Advanced knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with commercial industry financial applications (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, JDE, etc) Basic experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Broad understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git). Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate). Broad knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards. Advanced proficiency with support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Azure DevOps).
