What you'll do

  • Lead the product development lifecycle and review priorities and goals for the product
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams
  • Address common challenges across projects and keep business execution on track
  • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather customer feedback
  • Communicate product vision, status updates, and key decisions
  • Conduct usability testing, analyze user feedback, and iterate on the product
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, product documentation, and training with marketing, sales, and support
  • Support sales in winning new opportunities and participate in customer meetings
  • Oversee the work of a product line and ensure consistency in strategy and execution
  • Facilitate collaboration and resolve conflicts across teams and departments

  • Exceptional academic results at high school and university
  • Understanding of Linux and the wider open source software community
  • Understanding of computer architecture, application development, datacenters, cloud or devices
  • Passion to write about technologies and the tech landscape

  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 4 times a year for company events up to two weeks long
  • Software engineering background
  • Familiarity with verticals such as Telco, Finance, Industrial, or Automotive is valued
  • Familiarity with the technology ecosystem including Silicon, IHV, ISV, ODM/OEMs, cloud service providers and channel is valued
  • Experience leading distributed teams across different time zones is valued
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and innovation in team settings is valued
