What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or multi-branch operations.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (QuickBooks Enterprise, NetSuite, RAMP) and financial automation tools.
  • Communication platforms (Microsoft Teams)
  • Expertise in retail and inventory accounting, including POS accruals, cost of goods sold (COGS), and margin analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in RAMP, QuickBooks Enterprise and/or NetSuite ERP (implementation and migration experience preferred).

  • Skilled in financial reconciliations (multi-entity, payroll timing, historical adjustments).
  • Experience preparing audit-ready financial statements and supporting external audits.
  • Ability to design and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting workflows.
  • Competence in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (AI-enabled invoice uploads, OCR systems, AP/AR automation).
  • Strong command of Excel and financial modeling (pivot tables, advanced formulas, scenario analysis).
  • Knowledge of internal controls and compliance frameworks for multi-branch operations.
  • Analytical mindset – able to identify root causes of accounting deficiencies and propose practical solutions.
  • Process improvement orientation – proactive in streamlining workflows, documenting SOPs, and introducing automation.
  • Communication skills – clear and professional in explaining complex accounting issues to non-finance stakeholders, including management and external partners.
  • Collaboration – works effectively with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, auditors, ERP consultants) and acts as a thought partner rather than just a task executor.
  • Leadership and mentoring – capable of guiding junior accountants, setting standards, and fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
  • Adaptability – comfortable working in evolving environments, including ERP migrations and policy changes.
  • Integrity and accountability – maintain high ethical standards and ownership of financial reporting.

  • Professional certification equivalents (CPA/CA) recognized internationally are an advantage.
