Tasks and Responsibilities Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues across Windows Server environments , including failures related to configuration, patching, performance degradation, and system outages. Troubleshoot VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machines , focusing on performance issues, resource bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and host/cluster-level incidents. Investigate and resolve problems related to Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication, permissions , and domain services health. Monitor server health, capacity, performance trends, and respond to system alerts; identify root causes of incidents and implement corrective actions. Troubleshoot and support backup and recovery operations , including job failures, restore errors, and disaster recovery scenarios. Identify, analyze, and resolve issues across infrastructure services , including storage connectivity, network basics (DNS, DHCP, routing), virtualization components, and shared services. Work closely with the service desk and escalation teams to provide deep‑dive troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of incidents, problems, and urgent service requests. Requirements Hands-on experience in infrastructure support or systems administration, with exposure to Windows Servers, virtualisation (e.g. VMware ESXi or similar), and Microsoft 365. Basic experience with server monitoring, alerting, and incident handling, or willingness to learn. Familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus. Ability to work in a managed services environment, supporting multiple client environments and following standardised processes and documentation. Well-rounded, proactive profile with good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks. Strong problem-solving mindset; able to work independently as well as within a remote team. Experience working in international / multicultural teams, with awareness of cultural differences. Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus. What you'll do
