What you'll do

  • Provide program instruction in an online format incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and technologies.
  • Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom.
  • Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes.
  • Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes.
  • Assess student performance and prepare students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession.
  • Provide a positive example by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

What they require

  • Minimum: Masters in Education or related field AND 2 areas of exceptional expertise.
  • All instructors must have a valid state teacher certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in grades K-12.
  • Preferred: Doctorate in Educational Leadership or Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or Doctorate in Instructional Leadership or Doctorate in Organizational Leadership or Doctorate in Educational Psychology or Doctorate in Psychology or related field.
