What you'll do

  • Propelling the mission of the Rothwell Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence through data mining and review, observation, and faculty development.
  • Review courses to ensure adherence to contractual agreements and instructional best practices.
  • Develop and offer learning experiences for faculty.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned.
  • Collaborate with faculty and instructional support teams to support faculty before, during, and after teaching.

What they require

  • Master’s degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in a higher education or professional learning environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based teaching practices and pedagogy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience designing, delivering, and evaluating professional development or instructional training programs.
  • Ability to collaborate with faculty, instructional support teams, and technical staff.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems such as Canvas.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Availability daily during the traditional work week (Monday – Friday); minimum 2 hours a day for regular schedule, one of which must be during regular business hours (8-5 Monday – Friday).
