Job Description: Installation Engineer – Pollution Monitors UK Pollution Monitors Ltd design, supply, install, commission and service fixed gas detections. We are Safecontractor accredited for Health and Safety and ISO9001 for approved for quality assurance. We pride ourselves on providing a high-quality service based on well qualified and trained staff, good safety practices and attention to detail. We trade with the commercial sector only i.e. no domestic trading. Started in 1986 as a family business growing steadily year on year prior to be acquired by Vesta Software Group in January 2026. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, we are looking for an Installation engineer to work at our customer sites. Travel to customer sites across the UK, with the majority of projects located in London and the South of England (including Cambridge, Oxford, and London) will be required. Overnight stays may also be required when working on projects located more than two hours from home. Job Responsibilities Install gas detection equipment, including the fitting of conduit, cable tray, catenary wire, and boxed trunking, as well as cable pulling and termination. Complete administrative tasks such as timesheets, job documentation, and email communication. Participate in internal training and, where required, attend external training courses as part of an agreed development plan.
