What you'll do

  • Lead research projects on grid resilience and energy transition using public data.
  • Generate hypotheses and test them against credible external sources.
  • Turn analysis into evidence-led editorial (reports, blogs, briefings).
  • Act as an internal thought partner to Sales, Product, and executive teams.
  • Define and track key resilience and infrastructure metrics.
  • Detect and interpret industry inflection points.
  • Equip customer-facing teams with data-backed perspectives.
  • Publish internally and externally, and engage reporters as a source.
  • Stress-test Neara's point of view against market sentiment.

  • 8+ years across analytical and writing-driven work.
  • Strong writer and editor capable of crafting authoritative narratives for senior leaders.
  • Analytically fluent with large public datasets and data-informed visualizations.
  • Domain fluency in energy, infrastructure, technology, or journalism.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory and technical material into clear business language.
