Title: Independent Contractor – CPT-11317 Business Loan Processing Specialist/Business Support VA/Entry-Advanced Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

A growing business funding company is seeking an experienced Business Loan Processing Specialist to support the processing and administration of SBA, SBA Express, working capital, business lines of credit, business credit cards, equipment financing, and other commercial funding products.

The ideal candidate has previous experience working for a business lending or funding company and understands the documentation, lender requirements, and workflows associated with commercial financing. Beyond processing loans, this individual should bring operational insight and help establish more efficient systems that allow the business to scale from its current volume to significantly higher production.

This is a highly specialized position requiring direct experience with business funding and commercial lending—not residential mortgage processing.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

• Process SBA, SBA Express, working capital, business lines of credit, business credit cards, equipment financing, and other commercial loan/funding applications
• Collect, review, and organize required borrower documentation
• Prepare complete loan files for submission
• Verify documentation accuracy and lender requirements
• Monitor loan progress and communicate updates internally
• Ensure loan files are complete and meet lender submission requirements

Funding Operations

• Assist with business lines of credit, business credit cards, equipment financing, working capital products, SBA loans, SBA Express loans, and alternative business funding solutions
• Maintain accurate loan documentation and processing records
• Coordinate with lenders, funding partners, and financial institutions as needed
• Support file management and compliance throughout the funding process
• Help identify and resolve processing bottlenecks
• Track funding milestones and ensure timely follow-up throughout the application lifecycle

Process Improvement

• Recommend operational improvements that increase efficiency and scalability
• Help establish repeatable loan processing workflows
• Assist in documenting procedures and best practices
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative tasks
• Support the development of scalable operational systems

Administrative Support

• Maintain spreadsheets and funding pipeline tracking reports
• Organize borrower files and supporting documentation
• Support general administrative functions related to business loan processing
• Assist leadership with operational reporting, workflow management, and pipeline updates

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

• Previous experience processing SBA and SBA Express loans required
• Experience processing working capital loans required
• Experience processing business lines of credit required
• Experience processing business credit cards preferred
• Experience processing equipment financing preferred
• Experience working with commercial lending, business funding, or business finance companies required
• Strong understanding of lender documentation requirements
• Familiarity with multiple commercial funding products and underwriting documentation
• Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets proficiency
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Experience supporting a growing lending operation preferred

Work Schedule

• Contracted Hours per Week: 10 Hours
• Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
• Daily Working Time: 12-2 PM EST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

• Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
• This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
• All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
