Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Workforce Growth
- Manage, support, and scale a global network of contractual employees from hundreds to thousands.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and commitment across regions.
- Act as a trusted HR advisor for contractors—addressing concerns, resolving challenges, and strengthening engagement.
- Drive employee retention and engagement strategies, ensuring long-term workforce stability and loyalty.
Payroll & Hours Management
- Own Deel payroll administration, guaranteeing accuracy and timely payments across global markets.
- Oversee hours usage, accruals, and transparency in tracking.
- Manage and approve bonus structures in line with company guidelines.
- Partner closely with Finance and Operations to maintain payroll integrity and reporting excellence.
Global HR Relationships
- Build and sustain strong cross-cultural relationships with contractors.
- Champion communication and alignment across global teams.
- Lead HR initiatives tailored to LATAM and Indian contractors, while scaling best practices globally.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain impeccable documentation of contracts, hours, and records within Deel and internal systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regional regulations.
- Provide strategic workforce insights and trends to senior leadership for data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s a plus).
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience; global HR experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record managing and retaining global/remote contractors.
- Hands-on expertise with Deel or similar contractor payroll systems.
- Demonstrated success in scaling HR operations and workforce growth.
- Excellent leadership, cross-cultural communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, globally distributed environment.
