What you'll do

  • Act as the primary HR partner for employees and managers across the APAC region.
  • Support the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Ensure HR processes remain compliant with local labor laws and employment regulations across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
  • Manage employee records within the HRIS, maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, and collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Assist with performance review cycles by preparing materials, tracking timelines, and supporting managers throughout the process.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding contracts, benefits, leave policies, and HR procedures.
  • Partner with payroll providers and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration.
  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics such as headcount, attrition, and hiring performance.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and regional team events.
  • Help maintain and update HR policies to align with both company standards and local legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, recruitment partners, benefits providers, and legal advisors when needed.
  • Work closely with the global HR team to implement company-wide initiatives across the APAC region.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of core HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation in at least one APAC country, such as the Philippines, India, Japan, Australia, or New Zealand.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel for reporting and HR analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Preferred: Fluency in an additional APAC language.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting regional or international HR operations.
  • Preferred: Exposure to fast-growing SaaS or technology companies.
  • Preferred: Strong analytical mindset with experience using HR data to drive decision-making.
  • Preferred: Passion for employee experience and continuous process improvement.
  • Preferred: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
