Number of Openings: 1 Hiring Priority: Active Hiring As a DCX Client Services Home-Based AP Specialist, you will oversee invoice processing and payment. You will be responsible for managing vendor relations, keeping an up-to-date vendor database, and relevant AP reporting. Day-to-day, you will be making significant contributions to our partner’s operations and get the opportunity to enlarge your scope and shape your career. REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures WHAT YOU WILL DO Perform data entry of all vendor invoices, including credit card transactions. Compile and sort documents, such as invoices and statements, supporting business transactions. Review invoices against purchase orders, research discrepancies, and document findings. Assist employees and vendors by answering questions related to account balances and payment status updates. Respond to vendor inquiries via phone and email. Prepare Accounts Payable payment files for import. Print Accounts Payable reports and maintain all Accounts Payable files. Prepare account analyses, including payment terms, credit limits, and other financial information as required. Assist with monthly closing activities. Perform other miscellaneous duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Education: Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience. Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. Working Schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Outlook, and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel. Proficient in Google Workspace applications. Industry Specific Software/Knowledge: Strong accounting knowledge, particularly in Accounts Payable processes. Experience processing vendor invoices and Accounts Payable transactions. Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Ability to review invoices against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies. Experience preparing payment files, maintaining AP records, and supporting month-end close activities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of financial information. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate work. Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders. Ability to make sound business decisions while maintaining high quality control standards. Willingness to participate in continuing education or professional development as needed.
