What you'll do

  • As a Salesforce Solution Architect, lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet business needs.
  • Gather requirements with stakeholders, analyze business processes, and develop comprehensive Salesforce solutions.
  • Architect scalable and sustainable solutions and ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce products and features.
  • Create technical solutions aligned with requirements, including Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Salesforce Shield, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and related Salesforce capabilities.
  • Design architecture solutions including data models, integrations, workflows, and customizations.
  • Design and implement the Salesforce platform security model (visibility, accessibility, sharing).
  • Customize Salesforce by configuring objects, fields, page layouts, and workflow rules.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce customizations.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and automate business processes in Salesforce.
  • Oversee Salesforce solution configuration, customization, and development to match agreed architecture and design.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams through project lifecycle.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems (ERP, client CRMs, marketing automation, third-party applications).
  • Define and implement data governance policies, manage data quality, and perform audits/clean-ups.
  • Administer data imports, exports, and migrations between Salesforce and integrated systems.
  • Perform data security and compliance checks for data movement.
  • Configure and maintain reports and dashboards for client reporting needs.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure stability, performance, and reliability.
  • Create technical documentation, design documents, technical specifications, and user guides.
  • Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
  • Manage stakeholders across internal/external teams, project managers, and developers for successful on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Identify user needs and implement enhancements to improve experience and adoption.
  • Create and maintain user roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  • Monitor new Salesforce features and trends and recommend solution enhancements for continuous improvement.

What they require

  • At least 5 years of experience in a leading role delivering Salesforce projects.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security model and best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud / Life Sciences in a production environment.
  • Experience configuring Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) required.
  • Minimum 4+ years hands-on-keyboard Salesforce experience.
  • Experience in healthcare or proven ability to learn industry nuances quickly.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role, with deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods and keyboard.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Flexibility to support activities across EST to PST zones.
  • Prefer: experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience.
  • Prefer: familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Prefer: experience with Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Service Cloud.
  • Prefer: working knowledge of SQL.
  • Prefer: working knowledge of Python.
