What you'll do

  • Lead, develop, and scale a team of Legal Engineer Managers - Product Specialists and their organisations serving Harvey's law firm and in-house customers.
  • Build the systems, processes, and operating mechanisms that enable Legal Engineering to deliver exceptional customer outcomes at scale.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to align priorities and drive execution across the business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to law firm and in-house legal leaders and an influential partner to senior stakeholders across Harvey.
  • Drive organisational performance through effective planning, resource management, talent development, and operational excellence.
  • Help define the future of Legal Engineering and how Harvey partners with the world's leading law firms and corporate legal departments.

What they require

  • Qualified lawyer with 9+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house at a leading company, with significant client-facing experience.
  • Experience leading managers and manager-led organisations, not solely individual contributors.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling high-performing teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience owning organisational systems, processes, and operating models.
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and drive results across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong track record of managing upward and influencing senior leaders.
  • Experience representing an organisation externally and building trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Deep familiarity with legal technology and AI tools, and a strong understanding of how law firms and in-house legal teams operate day to day.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Preferred: Experience leading teams outside of a traditional law firm or in-house hierarchy.
  • Preferred: Experience in legal technology, professional services, consulting, legal innovation, legal operations, or other customer-facing organisations.
  • Preferred: Experience operating in a high-growth technology company.
  • Preferred: Experience leading globally distributed or pan-EMEA teams.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to create structure and drive execution in rapidly evolving environments.
  • Preferred: Experience working across multiple legal practice areas or with a broad range of law firm and in-house stakeholders.
