What you'll do

  • Engineer content across our owned assets to drive both conventional search (SEO) as well as agentic search (AEO).
  • Build standalone app examples to clarify for both new users and LLMs what can be done on Railway and how Railway works.
  • Make our documentation and blog into top-ranked assets, including writing guides and refining our site architecture.
  • Own our technical site performance end-to-end, improving our searchability.

What they require

  • Strong and clear communication style, particularly in writing
  • Ability to analyze data in AEO tools (like Gauge) and user trends to impact what you write about, and measure the results of your work.
  • A enthusiast about our product, Railway uses Railway to build Railway.
  • A great sense of direction and prioritization when it comes to dealing with the ambiguity of an early stage startup
  • Someone who is comfortable in a few different languages/stacks and can create educational content on how to deploy those projects on a public cloud or Railway

  • Strong equity grants
  • Equipment stipend
  • Autonomy: very few meetings, just Monday and Friday company board

At Railway, we make it extremely simple for engineers to deploy logic without thinking about servers. Our goal is to make developers orders of magnitude more efficient by becoming the operating system for modern development.
