What you'll do

  • Assist in building a forecast model for needed forecasting outside of Medidata Payments, and own that model and future updates and improvements.
  • Develop the forecasting process outside of Medidata Payments and link it with Medidata Payments forecasts.
  • Work with Central Planning, Clinical Operations, Revenue Recognition, Clinical Payments, Investigator Grants Payments, and Project Analyst teams to gather data and develop end-to-end forecasting of Clinical Site Payments.
  • Create client-ready forecast deliverables as specified per sponsor contracts and perform forecast analysis: plan vs. actuals; total budget needs with sponsor.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements, support the year-end and interim audit processes, and complete final reconciliation on study closeout.

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, databases, and accounting systems.
  • Understanding of the process of paying sites.
  • Understanding of accounting and revenue recognition standards.
