What you'll do

  • Request financial and ancillary information from Relationship Manager or Borrower to update credit files
  • Spread updated business and personal financial statements and complete stand-alone and/or global cash flow analysis
  • Prepare the annual servicing memo per SSB guidelines
  • Route completed annual servicing memo and original credit approval memo to the SBA Credit Administrator
  • Follow up on questions and open items with SBA Servicing Manager, Relationship Manager, Borrower and/or SBA Credit Administrator
  • Submit risk rating changes via the bank's tracking system upon completion of annual servicing
  • Weekly review of SBA 7(A) loan past due report with SBA Credit Administrator
  • Maintain month-by-month work log for SBA Credit Administrator and Senior Management review
  • Update SBA Credit Administrator on SSB Annual Servicing Metric compliance %
  • Assist SSB SBA Administrative Team with credit related aspects of servicing memos as needed
  • 1502 report reconciliation to ensure loans needing servicing are on the master list
  • Complete CLAR loans twice a year
  • May be required to complete site visits to Borrower's place of business as needed
  • Ensure compliance with Bank policies, code of conduct, and regulatory guidelines
  • Liaise with other employees to provide assistance
  • Participate in marketing endeavors/efforts
  • Continuously update skills via professional training and cross-training
  • Accept other duties as assigned

What they require

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting is recommended
  • At least one year of experience in related field
  • Knowledge of personal computer, Windows and Microsoft software applications
  • Must be able to prepare documents and compose business letters and memorandums
  • Good knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation
  • Requires knowledge of office practices, procedures and general office machines
  • Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations
  • Telecommuting roles must have a secure home office environment and reliable private internet connection (no cellular hotspots); cable or fiber preferred
