What you'll do

  • Build the enablement function from zero by designing, launching, and owning vCluster Labs' first enablement program, including learning paths, certifications, onboarding cohorts, and ongoing skill development for the go-to-market team.
  • Own enablement for customer engineering field roles, including Customer Success Engineers, Solutions Engineers, Technical Account Managers, and AI Infrastructure Engineers.
  • Extract technical content from engineering, product, and the field and turn it into structured, repeatable programs.
  • Programatize enablement for sellers and SDRs targeting platform engineers, DevOps teams, and infrastructure buyers.
  • Develop product narrative, competitive positioning, and technical fluency for sales and SDR teams to engage technical audiences.
  • Work with product and marketing to source, shape, and maintain enablement content.
  • Act as an authoritative cross-functional partner who brings ideas rather than only coordinating direction.
  • Own structured onboarding cohorts for incoming field hires.
  • Compress time-to-productivity for a fast-growing team across the US, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Define how enablement impact is measured, including ramp time, certification completion, field confidence, and win-rate influence.
  • Prioritize programs that move enablement impact metrics.

What they require

  • Experience leading sales or field enablement for a product sold to DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure audiences.
  • Understanding of what it takes to enable people who sell to engineers.
  • Technical literacy to work with engineers, learn how the technology works, ask the right questions, and translate technical depth into programs a field team can absorb.
  • Experience building enablement programs, ideally as an early or first hire.
  • Comfortable owning the enablement function solo without reports for the foreseeable future.
  • Program management rigor across curricula, calendars, certifications, and LMS/content systems.
  • Ability to turn good content into a durable enablement system.
  • Peer-level partnership with sales, product, and engineering leadership.
  • Opinionated, proactive, and comfortable pushing back.
  • Preferred: Direct experience enabling teams around Kubernetes, containers, or open-source infrastructure products.
  • Preferred: Background that started in a technical role such as Solutions Engineering, support engineering, or consulting before moving into enablement.
  • Preferred: Experience building formal certification or accreditation paths for technical field roles.
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience standing up LMS, content management, and enablement analytics platforms.
