What you'll do

  • Source and contract with vendors to implement new benefits plans.
  • Manage a global renewal calendar of 70+ plans annually.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with vendors and brokers.
  • Proactively manage broker relationships to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
  • Partner with product teams to integrate benefits into global platforms.
  • Prioritize platform features such as Day-1 enrollment.
  • Drive cross-functional engagement to align benefits strategy with ELT initiatives, GTM goals, and R&D product roadmaps.
  • Lead the transition from zero-margin allowance spend to margin-bearing plans.
  • Optimize the global P&L for benefits offerings.

What they require

  • Proven experience designing and standardizing local and global benefit plans into Core, Standard, and Premium packages.
  • Ability to evaluate market practices to maintain competitiveness across top global markets.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating commercial terms and managing relationships with 70+ global vendors, ensuring quality service and accountability.
  • Analytical expertise in managing benefit costs, including identifying opportunities to shift zero-margin allowance spend into margin-bearing insurance plans to optimize revenue.
  • Experience collaborating with R&D and product teams to integrate benefits strategy into software platforms, specifically improving platform visibility and supporting Day-1 enrollment.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional engagement, aligning benefit strategy with ELT initiatives, GTM goals, and sales enablement efforts.
  • Capability to manage a high-volume global renewal calendar, ensuring timely implementation, documentation, and maintenance of resources.
  • Proficiency in using attach rate trends and performance metrics to identify structural gaps, perform root cause analysis, and pivot strategy accordingly.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in benefits delivery.
  • Preferred: experience in benefits management.
  • Track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as HR business partners and HRIS.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills and initiative through individual research and drive.
  • Ability to work across different departments to achieve results beneficial to the larger team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and execution skills.
  • Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion, sound judgment, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, show adaptability, and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, collaborating with and serving all levels of the organization.
  • Technology literate, including Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, and benefits-specific software.
  • Knowledge of benefits administration and compliance or other related experience.
  • Preferred: basic HR and payroll practices knowledge.
