What you'll do
- Read and record short conversational prompts in English
- Use their natural speaking voice and pronunciation
- Complete the recording remotely from a quiet location
- Follow simple recording and audio-quality instructions
- Submit completed recordings through the designated project platform
- Respond to the project team if clarification or a rerecording is needed
What they require
- No professional voice, acting, or research experience is required.
- Have strong English reading and comprehension skills
- Be comfortable reading short English sentences and conversational prompts aloud
- Be able to understand and follow written instructions in English
- Speak clearly and naturally when recording
- You do not need a specific English accent.
- Native, fluent, and bilingual speakers may be considered depending on the research group.
- Participants age 50+ are especially encouraged to apply — additional incentive available!
- Participants must have access to a clear, properly working personal device capable of completing voice-recording activities.

- Fluency or strong proficiency in at least one of the listed language groups
