What you'll do

  • Serve as business owner for Color’s oncology care product and service line.
  • Guide program strategy, product direction, commercial growth, and market presence.
  • Work across teams to ensure the offering is clinically strong, operationally scalable, commercially compelling, and useful to patients and customers.
  • Help define where the program goes next, how it evolves, how it is brought to market, and how it delivers value across patient care, customer partnership, and business performance.
  • Partner with executive leadership in commercial, operations, product, marketing, clinical, the CEO, and the President.
  • Contribute to strategic conversations with health plans, employers, and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Define and advance the strategy for Color’s oncology care programs, including offering evolution, focus areas, and success measures.
  • Translate patient needs, customer priorities, clinical insight, and market signals into product, service, and business priorities.
  • Develop business cases for new capabilities, program improvements, and expansion opportunities.
  • Balance patient impact, customer value, operational feasibility, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with go-to-market, clinical, product, engineering, and operations teams to bring new capabilities from concept through launch and ongoing improvement.
  • Ensure the program works end to end, including patient and clinician experience, customer experience, clinical workflows, operating models, and supporting technology.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous problems.
  • Help teams make thoughtful tradeoffs.
  • Keep execution moving with focus and discipline.
  • Own Color’s oncology care programs go-to-market strategy.
  • Shape market communication, including customer value proposition, core narrative, positioning, packaging, launch approach, pricing of new products, and commercial materials.
  • Partner with sales and account teams on strategic customer conversations, renewals, and market feedback.
  • Develop and maintain sales playbooks, pitch messaging, objection handling, and competitive intelligence.
  • Serve as an external voice for the Oncology Care Programs with healthcare buyers, partners, and industry audiences.
  • Develop buyer fluency across payers, employers, and cancer centers to accelerate deals and build trust.
  • Be Color’s go-to person on the market, including market evolution, competitor positioning, and early market-interest signals.
  • Act as a connective leader across clinical, product, operations, commercial, marketing, and customer teams.
  • Align priorities, clarify decisions, and ensure teams share an understanding of what matters most.
  • Advance the program in line with Color’s standards for clinical quality, customer trust, operational excellence, and patient impact.

What they require

  • Builder and operator who has helped bring healthcare products, services, or care delivery programs to market.
  • Understanding of moving from idea to adoption, scale, and measurable impact.
  • Experience as the external face of a business or program, conveying credibility and expertise.
  • Experience presenting at industry conferences, leading senior sales conversations, and making complex clinical programs clear and compelling to payer VPs or benefits directors.
  • Comfort with both product strategy and commercial execution.
  • Ability to understand buyer needs, shape a compelling offering, support customer conversations, and work through operational delivery details.
  • Strong healthcare judgment.
  • Meaningful exposure to oncology, specialty care, care delivery, payer models, employer benefits, or health technology.
  • Clear and credible communication with senior buyers, partners, and internal teams about complex clinical and operational topics.
  • High effectiveness in ambiguity, including seeking ground truth, separating signal from noise, experimenting creatively, and making clear decisions with imperfect information.
  • Collaborative by default, able to lead through influence, create alignment across teams, hold high standards, and bring that expectation to surrounding work.
  • Deep motivation to improve cancer care for patients and families and build scalable technology-enabled care delivery programs.
  • 15+ years of professional experience, with meaningful tenure in health technology, healthcare delivery, oncology, specialty care, payer, employer benefits, or related fields in high-growth environments.
  • Background spanning both product or program strategy and commercial execution.
  • Fluency with healthcare buyers, payer, employer, and/or cancer center economics and incentives.
  • Hands-on experience with go-to-market work such as positioning, launch planning, sales enablement, customer discovery, strategic sales support, pricing, packaging, and/or direct selling.
  • External credibility with customers, partners, industry audiences, or senior healthcare stakeholders.
  • Experience presenting at panels, keynotes, and sales meetings.
  • Reliable judgment in complex, ambiguous, or high-stakes environments.
  • Ability to go deep on problem details, make hard calls well, and get details right.
  • Comfort operating in a high-growth environment where priorities evolve, ownership is broad, and strong accountability and cross-functional partnership are essential.
  • Empathetic leader and communicator who can rally an organization and external stakeholders around an important priority and lead execution effectively.
