Contract fundraising support role for someone comfortable editing HTML/CSS, running QA, and coordinating multilingual online fundraising campaigns. Must be able to work remotely in one of Wikimedia’s listed hiring locations and have current work authorization there.

What you'll do

  • Perform production tasks to help Revenue Specialists launch and optimize fundraising campaigns in more than 20 languages and 30 countries each year.
  • Work in web files to modify HTML and CSS content as part of the production process for international campaigns.
  • Find and update translation elements.
  • Implement copy tests.
  • Interface with linguists and creative strategists to verify test content before it goes live.
  • Work in the CentralNotice banner delivery platform to implement new campaigns and banner tests.
  • Ensure test content is ready and organized for clarity of reporting based on test priorities from Revenue Specialists.
  • Manage QA processes for the banner program, including cross-browser review and implementation of the QA checklist maintained by the design team.
  • Work with developers and designers to triage and verify bug solutions.
  • Receive instructions on new tasks from Revenue Specialists and the Senior Manager of Fundraising Products.
  • Maintain an Asana board of priorities.
  • Contribute to other Asana workflows to ensure campaign delivery.

What they require

  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
  • Comfort navigating code, implementing test overrides, and verifying changes is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to own and maintain quality assurance processes.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform autonomously in a remote, time-zone distributed environment.
  • Desire to learn on the job and adapt to Wikimedia’s unique movement and model.
  • Experience with multilingual marketing or programs.
  • Comfort working within distributed, international environments.
  • Generally needed to work in December because it is a critical fundraising month.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, approximately 2 times a year, including internationally.
  • Non-US employees must have current work authorization in their location.
  • Applicants in Kenya and Singapore must be citizens or permanent residents.
