About the Role

Have you started your career in Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, or Business Administration and later discovered that you enjoyed implementing financial systems more than running the processes themselves? Maybe you began as an Accountant, AP Analyst, Financial Analyst, Procurement Specialist, or Business Consultant before transitioning into ERP or SaaS implementations.

We are partnering with a global leader in cloud-based Spend Management and Accounts Payable Automation solutions trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide. As part of this strategic partnership, we're building a specialized Professional Services team that will guide international customers through the successful implementation of the AP Automation platform.

This is a customer-facing consulting role where you'll combine your finance knowledge, analytical thinking, and implementation experience to help organizations modernize the way they purchase, approve invoices, manage suppliers, and automate financial operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Functional Consultant, you'll become a trusted advisor for customers. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing implementation projects, tracking timelines, milestones, and project deliverables. Leading functional consulting activities, including discovery sessions to identify business requirements. Understanding customers' finance and procurement processes. Translating business needs into system configuration following best practices. Advising customers on process improvements, 3-way matching rules, and automation opportunities. Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training sessions, and Go-Live activities. Helping customers successfully adopt the platform and maximize business value. Managing multiple implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining an excellent customer experience.

What You Need to Succeed

Must-haves

5+ years of hands-on experience implementing ERPs, Financial Systems, or SaaS platforms. Proven experience balancing Project Management and Functional Consulting duties during software rollouts. Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase-to-Pay, Source-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, or Spend Management processes. Proven ability to work directly and autonomously with customers during software implementations. Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into functional system configurations. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Professional-level English (customer-facing role).

Nice-to-haves

Experience with one or more of the following:

Medius Oracle Financials Oracle NetSuite SAP FI / MM Microsoft Dynamics AX / Finance & Operations Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Infor M3 Coupa Basware Ariba Jaggaer

Additionally:

Power BI SQL Business Intelligence or Reporting tools

We’ll also explore your experience with financial processes and customer-facing implementations, assess English communication skills, and walk you through the role, project, working conditions, and next steps.

Final Interview – Hiring Manager (60 minutes): A deeper conversation with our Professional Services leadership focused on your functional consulting expertise, financial process knowledge, implementation and project ownership, and approach to working with customers. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about the team, the Medius environment, day-to-day responsibilities, and expectations for the role.
