What you'll do

  • Build AI-first medical software used by health professionals, including patient files, consultation audio transcription, workplace risks, video consultation, and appointment scheduling.
  • Build customer setup machinery for affiliation, contracting, billing, and risk declaration workflows for HR teams.
  • Design and implement onsite member experiences for workers and health professionals online and in the Paris medical center.
  • Work closely with doctors and nurses, Product Designers, User Researchers, Operations, and other engineering teams across Alan.
  • Build infrastructure, interfaces, and applications to provide service to members, health professionals, and internal teams.
  • Make product decisions and build the resulting product features.
  • Deploy daily and own what you build.

What they require

  • 2+ years shipping production-quality fullstack features.
  • Backend or frontend specialization is fine as long as you are comfortable with both.
  • Care about scalable, reliable systems that real users depend on.
  • Comfort with occupational health uptime and regulatory constraints.
  • Love building new products from scratch and are comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Product-minded: think about doctors, HR admins, and employees as much as code.
  • Grit and bias for action: make decisions with incomplete information, ship, learn, and iterate.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain.
  • Healthcare technology excites you.
  • The idea of reinventing an under-invested corner of French healthcare excites you.
  • Preferred: French fluency to interact with the medical team or customers.
  • Preferred: being based in Paris, especially for designing the onsite experience or working alongside the medical team.
  • Not being familiar with Alan's stack is acceptable if you are a keen learner.
