What you'll do

  • Work directly with entrepreneurs to deliver deep insights that shape strategic decision-making.
  • Tell the story behind financial numbers, uncover drivers of performance, and build forecasts that help leadership see what’s coming next.
  • Support and influence decision-making through accurate forecasting, robust analysis, and a deep understanding of the business.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to support business planning and strategy.
  • Develop robust, defensible forecasts that help executives navigate future outcomes.
  • Continuously seek better ways to model and measure business performance.
  • Conduct variance analysis and go beyond accounting data to identify root causes.
  • Verify and validate data accuracy, flag inconsistencies, and propose corrections.
  • Analyze company-wide data to surface key trends and opportunities.
  • Build templates to track KPIs and performance metrics across the business.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support cross-functional needs.
  • Support senior leadership with updates on market dynamics and competition.
  • Field financial data queries from cross-functional teams.
  • Play a key role in investor communications and due diligence processes.
  • Collaborate closely with functional groups across operations, product, strategy and potentially more depending on the client you are matched with.

What they require

  • Professional fluency in English, with excellent communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
  • At least 4 years in Financial Planning & Analysis or a similar role.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in investment banking or consulting is a strong plus.
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field; equivalent work experience also considered.
  • High proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel and Google Sheets, together with a familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented, with strong analytical thinking and have the ability to work independently and proactively problem-solve.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, data-heavy environments.
  • You are expected to work inclusively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ensuring that both personal and collective dignity are supported.
  • You will be expected to work a split shift with some overlap with our client’s time zone.
  • You will be expected to be present for in-person training programs during your first 3.5 weeks with us.
