The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) serves as a hands-on member of the technical team supporting the implementation of a data-driven operational intelligence platform built on Palantir Foundry and AIP.

What you'll do

  • Support development of a data ontology and foundation that will underpin future predictive modeling capabilities
  • Contribute to a Workshop-based application (interactive scenario builder or operations dashboard with real-time insights) using Foundry’s Workshop/Slate application layer
  • Build and support natural-language querying capability over structured data, covering key business dimensions such as time, cost, quality, and context
  • Support ingestion of policy and reference documents into Foundry as searchable content
  • Implement rules-based logic and reusable business definitions anchored to the platform Ontology

What they require

  • MUST live in or near Atlanta, GA
  • 3-5 years of software engineering, data engineering, or systems integration experience
  • Preferred: Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven data domains is a plus
  • Preferred: Familiarity with data governance practices in federal or public-sector data environments
  • Comfortable working with moderate independence across the build, test, and deployment lifecycle, escalating complex architecture decisions to senior engineering staff
