What you'll do

  • Coordinate daily missions across the DACH region: pilot dispatch, weather calls, site access, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage regulatory compliance under EASA rules as implemented by the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) and Austrian/Swiss authorities — operational authorizations, geographical zones, and insurance documentation.
  • Plan operations around energy infrastructure — grid corridors, gas storage and pipeline networks, chemical parks — where site operators impose their own strict access and safety regimes on top of aviation rules.
  • Run recurring monitoring programs with clockwork reliability: same sites, tight capture specifications, and clients who notice a day's slip.
  • Recruit and support pilots across the region, upholding RAAD's capture and safety standards.

What they require

  • 3+ years in flight/UAV operations, utility field coordination, or comparable operational roles.
  • Working knowledge of the EASA UAS framework and German implementation (LBA processes, geo-zones, §21h LuftVO context).
  • Experience with utility or energy-sector clients and their HSE/access processes is a strong plus.

RAAD designs and builds its own servers, including GPU processing nodes, storage arrays, and edge appliances, and deploys them across its own racks, public cloud, and hardened on-prem installations for clients in energy, defense-adjacent, and critical infrastructure environments.
