What you'll do

  • Support the broader business by compiling data and drafting letters and documents as needed
  • Perform data entry to and from CRM and document management tools
  • Maintain CRM client information with relevant updates
  • Create reports from the CRM and providers’ portals
  • Collect and document business requirements and process improvement or automation efforts
  • Handle project research and special projects for the team as required
  • Format, draft, edit, and send emails and customer correspondence
  • Conduct research on financial concepts, superannuation retirement, and tax strategies
  • Work with clients to gather necessary information and documents
  • Understand and interpret financial and tax documents related to clients’ investments
  • Manage and update client information in the company’s database

  • Highly professional with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Intelligent, ambitious, and eager to learn, with a strong desire for professional growth
  • Team player comfortable working in a team environment and able to handle a busy and challenging workload
  • Good understanding of the advice process
  • Well organized and able to prioritize tasks and follow through to completion
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and ability to work independently and take initiative
  • 3 or more years of experience in a financial services role in the financial planning industry
  • Strong numerical and logical reasoning skills
  • Good with maths and comfortable working with numbers
  • Familiarity with Superannuation, Centrelink, and Investments in Australia
  • Desire to become an expert in wealth products and assist advisers in the advice preparation process
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially in calculations and materials prepared
