What you'll do

  • Completes analysis of AP invoices to accurately determine labor dollars and hours.
  • Assists with preparation of reports and maintains logs for tracking payments from Medicare, Medicaid, and other government payers.
  • Submits time studies to departments for completion, tracks return of the studies, records and summarizes the time study data for use in the cost report preparation.
  • Assists in gathering and maintaining files for provider enrollment-related tasks.
  • Assists in running reports and gathering documentation for third party audits.
  • Performs day-to-day clerical tasks such as filing, mailing, scheduling meetings, etc.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related area with two years' related accounting experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Computer skills and the ability to develop financial spreadsheets required.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Applications: Excel, Word, etc.
  • Ability to develop financial spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Work may require stretching and bending for filing and obtaining records.
  • Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Majority of day is sitting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet abilities.
  • Remote 40 hours per week.
  • Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
  • Mandatory overtime required during March through May.
